Lead Paint

As of 2010 the EPA requires all work performed on dwellings built prior to 1978 to follow the EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (RRP Rule).  This rule requires that firms performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead based paint in homes, child care facilities and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firm certified by the EPA, use certified renovators who are trained by EPA approved training providers and follow lead-safe work practices.  Rice Painting was one of the first firms in the St. Louis metro area to be certified by the EPA and we have maintained our certification.
